Van Sterijevski, CEO and President
Van was born and raised in Chicago, and at an early age was heavily
involved in a successful family business that did work in a wide
variety of different residential and commercial construction
projects throughout the Greater Chicago Area. In 1991, Van came to Canada and
attended the University of Toronto, where he received an
undergraduate degree in Political Science and History. In
addition, he successfully completed his Canadian Securities Course
and obtained an Ontario Real Estate License to sell real estate
throughout the province. After completing his studies in 1995,
he returned to Chicago and went to work along side his father, and
in 2000, the whole family came to Toronto, and successfully
established Greywood Homes. Almost immediately, Van quickly
discovered the value of the design-build process, which provides
clients with a quality product, an intelligent and efficient process
and excellent customer service. Van is an enthusiastic and active
member of the Building Industry Land Development Association (BILD),
Greater Toronto Home Builders'
association (GTHBA), and the Ontario Home Builders' Association
(OHBA). Van was married in 2001, and his personal pursuits
include family time with his wife and son, golfing, traveling and
reading.
Robert Sterijevski, Vice President and Project Manager
Robert is the younger brother of Van, and he shares a similar story
with his older brother. He has worked in the family business all his
life, and in 1994 came to Canada to attend the University of
Toronto, where he graduated with a business management and sociology
degree in 1998. After graduation, he went to work in the family
business, and is an integral part in the successful establishment of
Greywood Homes. He is a resourceful, creative and versatile member,
whose responsibilities include designing projects, budgeting,
specification writing, agreement writing, permit plan development,
project management and business development. Robert’s
professionalism, dedication to customer service and creativity
produces a great experience for our clients. Robert enjoys spending
time with his wife, and his hobbies include playing recreational
basketball, carpentry, and traveling.
Claude Ducharme, Construction Manager
Claude came to the Greywood team in 2004, and has over eighteen
years of experience in construction, with most of those years spent
as a construction manager. He has intimate knowledge of all aspects
of construction, with special emphasis on all matters related to
foundation and concrete forming.
Claude is a true professional and displays the highest degree of
accommodation for our client's expectations and their need for
quality.
Danny Marto, Construction Manager & Electrician
Danny has worked at Greywood since 2004, and has over fourteen years
of experience in construction, with the last five spent as a
construction manager. Danny is a licensed electrician in Ontario,
and handles all electrical issues in any Greywood Home. Danny has
always been praised for his attention to detail, and for his
considerate nature in dealing with client's issues.
Jennfier Nolevski, Architectural and Interior Design
Jennifer joined the Greywood team in 2006, and provides assistance
to client in making crucial decisions on the development of
floor-plans, and has an uncanny ability to identify problem areas within
the design of their home. Her true strength is her ability to listen
to our clients, and incorporate their needs with the design of a
floor-plan and layout.
Starr Boyko, Office Manager
Starr has worked at Greywood since 2004. She brings her knowledge of
accounting in the construction industry and is the glue that binds
the Grewood team together. She has previously worked in the food
industry, and loves to cook, play with her cat "Samantha", and spend
time with her husband and family.
